Good morning from Naylor Lake, 49 degrees, no wind. Another beautiful morning on the lake!

Finally a sighting of the eagle. I’m posting a picture the Younger’s took while on the lake yesterday morning.

Also, a young moose was spotted on the south shoreline yesterday morning.

Congratulations to Shannon and Mark Buckland on the arrival of their baby girl, Marley, on Monday, 7/24.

Have a good day.

Good morning from Naylor Lake, more like afternoon now, WiFi problems earlier. Another gorgeous day. No wind, 54 degrees at 6:30 a. m.

The wind is very fickle this year, it comes and goes throughout the whole day. 73 degrees at 3:30 p. m.

Have a great day.

Good morning from Naylor Lake. Absolutely beautiful today. 47 degrees at 7 am, no wind, crystal clear lake this morning. As I’m writing this at noon, the wind has picked up, 65 degrees.

The reason I’m posting so late today is because I had to go into Idaho Springs to run an errand. It’s the first time I’ve ever left the property on a weekend. It seems like half of Colorado is at Silver Dollar, either driving or hiking up and there are only two members with guests here on property! Some weekends this year there has been no one here.

Have a great day!

Good morning from Naylor Lake, another beautiful day in paradise! 47 degrees and warming quickly, no wind so far.

Yesterday was a strange day, on and off beautiful and sunny, then cloudy and rainy, at one point it hailed!

Walter Vest sent this pic he took from the cabins on 7/16.

Have a good day🌞.

Good morning from Naylor Lake. Sunny, not a cloud in the sky, 57 degrees, some wind.

Yesterday I tried hiking the southern trail around the lake, but didn’t get far. The water has cut off access to the trail. I only tried it because the day before I noticed two of our fisherman were on the banks farther down. They must have climbed over the hill to get to the trail.

Our high yesterday was 75 (+/-) degrees!!

Can anyone tell me the name of this flower?

Have a great day🌞

Good morning from Naylor Lake. Another beautiful day, at 7 a.m. 47 degrees and no wind. At 8:20, 52 degrees, wind picking up.

Yesterday I hiked the north trail. It is in wonderful shape but you cannot get to the inlet because of the water level of the lake. The south trail is not passable to the inlet either. The lake is steadily rising with the snow melt.

Good morning from Naylor Lake, a stunning morning! At 7 a.m. no wind as you can see from the beauty of the lake, 41 degrees, quickly warming. Yesterday we had an amazing high of 73 degrees.
Late afternoon visitors yesterday! What a thrill to see these two. Mama just stared at me a few minutes then moved on leaving baby to follow her.

Members have noted in the logbook that we have a pair of eagles. I haven’t seen them yet but on the lookout. We do have some ducks.

Hope to see more Members/Guests soon!

Good morning from Naylor Lake. At 7 a.m. it was 45 degrees and warming. Sunny with low lying clouds hanging in the east and west but the sun is shining thru. We have some early fisherman on the lake this morning.

I want to send a thank you to the Younger’s for bringing firewood for the cabins.

Good morning from Naylor Lake. It’s beautiful this morning as you can see from the photo, sunny, no wind but it’s picking up, 44 degrees.

Mark Buckland asked if I would post daily/weekly weather or other happenings here at the lake. We got a late but quick start with a good crew to open. Three days later my daughter and granddaughter flew in for a 3 day visit, then the fish stocking, and July 4th. It has been a whirlwind but such fun. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone this year. My days off are Tuesday/Wednesday. Suzanne
