Good morning from Naylor Lake, 47 degrees, light wind, so far. Notice in the picture that the rock island is just peaking above water level, so the level is coming down.
Yesterday was a momentous day. We got a new flagpole, a much higher one, I believe 6 ft. higher?
Linden Parker, Naylor President and Bryan Buckland putting together the pipe sections. Thank goodness Jim Jordan and guest, Mike Jack were available to help. When the pole was ready to be lifted and screwed into the original base Bryan needed to reposition the truck so Jim and Linden were holding it in place.
All of a sudden a hurricane force wind came off of the Lake!!! They prevailed!
Placing the pole. None of us knew how to actually hang the flag so we were googling it. That’s when Jim Blugerman stepped in. Looks great. We’ve all missed the flag.
